As an automotive technician, I have always been fond of the phrase, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Basically, if something is working fine, my mentality is “Why would you change it and risk possibly screwing something up?” Over the years, I have had to undo many car owners’ attempts to modify their vehicles.  At the worst, the “so-called” improvements made the vehicle lose performance or quit running altogether.  The lesson to be learned here is that when changing a product, care must be taken to ensure there is no feature or functionality loss.

The Power Probe 3 has been our most popular circuit testing tool for over a decade.  Technicians have come to rely on the diagnostic power and testing speed of the Power Probe 3.  Its combination of streamlined functionality, simple design, and powerful test functions make it an industry favorite.  This is truly an indispensable tool for fast and efficient electrical diagnosis.

As with everything else Power Probe TEK does, we cannot leave well enough alone.  Our Innovation team has found several ways to make our best-selling product even better.

Introducing the new Power Probe 3S, an update to our best-selling PP3.  We have made significant improvements without changing any of the test features you have come to know and love:

  • Bigger Screen – Get the all information you need faster with a 50% larger screen.
  • Menu Driven – An intuitive menu screen makes accessing all 6 modes a breeze.
  • Slim Body – The new PP3S has a slim and ergonomic body for a secure and comfortable grip.
  • Upside Down? No Problem – Flip screen mode lets you rotate on screen readings.

After using the new PP3S for a while now, I find that it is even easier and more intuitive to use than our original Power Probe 3.  All accessory leads, tips, cables and extensions for the original PP3 still work and are interchangeable with this new tool.  The new Power Probe 3S does everything the original unit could, but better.

Ask your local tool supplier about the new Power Probe 3S and see the improvements for yourself.
